Building for the Community
Some projects are bigger than a client engagement. Northside Lexington preserves neighborhood heritage. Centro Lexington connects a community through food and culture. C8 Work creates pathways for people in recovery. These are projects we care about.
Some of our most meaningful work doesn't fit neatly into a service category. These are projects where technology meets community — where the goal isn't just a website, but a neighborhood, a movement, or a more connected city.
Northside Lexington is the project that best represents this philosophy. What started as a neighborhood website became a community platform — event calendars, business directories, resident resources, and a digital identity for a neighborhood that was underrepresented online. The technology is WordPress, but the impact is civic.
Centro Lexington brought the same approach to Lexington's Hispanic community. Bilingual content, community event promotion, resource directories, and a digital presence for organizations doing vital work. This project pushed us to think about accessibility and inclusivity in every design decision.
C8 Work grew from observing how small teams struggle with project coordination. Rather than pointing clients to another SaaS tool, we built a lightweight work management platform tailored to how creative agencies actually operate — visual, fast, and not buried in features nobody uses.
These projects share a common thread: they exist because someone saw a gap and we had the skills to fill it. Not every project needs a business case. Sometimes the ROI is measured in community impact.
